Rooted in the spirit of mālama ʻāina (caring for the land), Haiku Garden Farm Sanctuary is a nature-based retreat designed for travelers who seek both serenity and adventure.
Nestled in the lush community of Haʻikū — just past Paʻia on the Road to Hāna — our small, family-run regenerative farm offers a restorative space to reconnect with the land, with yourself, and with the gentle rhythm of island life.
Our charming tropical cottages provide comfortable, private spaces for independent living, surrounded by gardens, fruit trees, and open skies. Guests wake to birdsong, enjoy coffee on a shaded lanai, and step directly into the farm to wander garden paths, harvest seasonal fruits and herbs, or simply sit with the calm of misty mornings and trade winds moving through the trees.
The farm grows rosemary, lilikoi (passionfruit), tropical flowers, herbs, and seasonal fruits, inviting guests to experience the land not as a backdrop, but as a living relationship. Mornings can start with a quiet garden walk, and days can unfold however you choose — from chasing waterfalls and exploring beaches to hiking rainforest trails or enjoying slow afternoons in the garden.

After more than a decade hosting travelers as a bed & breakfast, we’ve transitioned to a model that invites guests to experience the land more fully. Instead of traditional hospitality, we now offer an independent, nature-based farm-stay experience rooted in wellness, simplicity, and connection to the ʻāina. Guests are encouraged to wander the gardens, harvest seasonal fruits, and embrace the natural rhythms of the farm, from birdsong and rainfall to the wildlife and tropical greenery that surrounds them.
